Our rescue pup that we had for a week stayed with the team at Country Pine, and we couldn’t fault them one bit! They were tentative he bounced around before we had him and showed compassion for the situation.
Monty obviously had a blast based on the photos they showed us and we’ll be sending him back weekly for a play with the team and other doggies!

My dog Loves going there for doggy daycare he has made some friends and has been to the beach for the 1st time with them he gets training with Lee. He had his very 1st boarding stay for 5 days while I went away and I loved the Skype calls and the photos I got of him I was reassured by Lee that he was doing ok which made me happy as I was worried about him being away from me but Lee and the team at country pine took exceptional good care of him and treated him with respect and he got the attention he needed and I got the Skype calls and the photos I needed to see that he was ok and getting treated right. Thank you Lee and the team at country Pine my dog loves coming there to play with the other dogs and to learn from the training he gets. I would highly recommend Country pine to my family and friends Lee, Tash and the team are the best.

Took my dog for a "training course" here and was told that by the end of said training, my dog would come to the trainer instead of me, he would heel and have a good recall foundation, and generally, have better manners around other dogs.

When I got there to pick him up, he listened to no one, and just ran up and down the fence line trying to get to the other dogs with no concern as to what me or the trainer were doing. It makes sense why I wasnt allowed to visit. He was as lean as anything and had clearly just been running himself stupid for 2 weeks. I'm still dealing with that aftermath.

Ive been sitting in this for a good while, wondering if it was the right thing or not to post. I was naive and trusted my dog to someone who made promises that weren't followed through on.

1500 bucks fown the drain, and 2 weeks with my dog ill never get back. Beware.

Stay Connected on Our Socials While on Holiday

FAQ’s

Is it possible for my dog to be boarded with another dog?

Certainly! With the required consent from clients, we can board compatible family dogs from the same household in the same room. Additionally, we offer the option to house dogs from different households together, provided we have client approval and our trained staff have conducted a thorough assessment to ensure compatibility.

During their stay, each dog’s behaviour and temperament are carefully evaluated. With client permission, if dog is deemed suitable, they may have the opportunity to socialize and form friendships with other dogs during playtimes. Regardless of their interactions with other dogs, all dogs receive individual attention and interaction with our staff, ensuring a comfortable and engaging experience during their stay.

Can I or a friend visit my dog during their holiday?

When considering a visit to your dog while they are on holiday with us, it’s important to understand the potential impact on your dog’s experience. We generally advise against such visits, as they can lead to confusion for your dog. They might not fully grasp why a familiar face would appear and then depart without them. Our goal is to help them acclimate to their temporary environment, allowing them to form a bond with our staff and partake in a variety of comforting activities, such as cuddles, pats, and pampering.

To keep you connected with your dog, we offer several communication options. With your consent, we share photos and videos of your dog’s stay on our Social Media pages. Additionally, we provide a pet update service through Email, Facebook messages, or Phone Calls. You may also opt for additional Enrichment Video Calls to stay in touch with your dog visually.

If a visit is absolutely necessary during a prolonged stay, we recommend scheduling these appointments in advance, ideally at the time of drop-off, and limiting them to essential occasions. This approach ensures minimal disruption to your dog’s routine and aids in maintaining their comfort and happiness.

How often is my dog fed?

Each dog is provided with meals twice daily, once in the morning and once in the evening. The diet consists of premium dry kibble complemented by chicken or beef meat loaf.

During the booking process and upon arrival, we inquire about any specific feeding requirements or preferences your dog may have. This information is carefully documented in your dog’s confidential record to ensure their dietary needs are consistently met.

Can I bring my dogs own food?

You are welcome to provide your dog’s own food, especially if they have specific dietary needs, are selective eaters, or have health-related dietary restrictions. Our staff are trained in accurately measuring and administering any special feeding requirements your dog may have.

During the booking process and upon arrival, we will inquire about the type of food your dog consumes at home, the feeding frequency, and the reasons for any special dietary needs.

We encourage owners to bring their dog’s own food if it aligns with the pet’s conditions. There is no additional charge for accommodating special feeding instructions. However, we do ask that any pre-cooked meals be pre-portioned and clearly labelled with your dog’s full name prior to your arrival. This ensures that we can store and administer the meals appropriately. For those meals that require refrigeration or freezing, we have the necessary facilities to keep the food fresh and safe for your pet.

Medications or Supplements are an additional cost, per administration.

What if my dog is on medication/s?

Our staff are trained to administer medication and injection medications. To ensure a smooth process, we advise owners to clearly label all medications with their dog’s full name prior to arrival.

During both the booking process and upon arrival, you will be asked to provide detailed information about the medication, including its purpose, this is documented in your pet’s secure record. For medications that need refrigeration, we have a dedicated fridge to maintain proper storage conditions.

Medications or Supplements are an additional cost, per administration.

Do you offer care for senior dogs?

Can I bring my dog’s belongings for their board?

Every dog is provided with a trampoline bed, cozy bedding, and blankets to make their stay as comfortable as possible. Additionally, dogs can enjoy a variety of toys during their play sessions.

If you prefer to bring your dog’s personal blanket or favourite toy for an anxious dog, please limit it to one item. We kindly request that this item be clearly labelled with your pet’s full name. It is important that these items are easily washable and dryable, as we will clean them if necessary, during your dog’s stay.

Please note that we will not require your dog’s personal lead, collar and /or car harness during their stay. These items will be removed upon arrival and handed back. Remember to bring them for your dog’s Departure process.

Should I bring anything with me when arriving my dog?

Please bring along your dog’s up to date yearly vaccination certificate. Your dog’s Medication/s and /or Special Food/s and any important information on special medications, health concerns, health issues or feeding requirements.

All dog’s need to arrive correctly restrained, so please bring your dog’s lead, collar and /or car harness with you on arrival and departure.

What if my dog has sensitive skin?

Upon your dog’s arrival for their stay, your dog is weighed, and a comprehensive health assessment will be conducted. You will be asked to disclose any existing health or skin concerns, which will be documented in your dog’s secure record.

For dog’s receiving a bath at the conclusion of their visit, we offer specialized products designed for sensitive skin.

If your dog tends to develop skin irritations or hotspots, we kindly request that you provide their specific creams, skin care products, or bathing items for use during their stay. This ensures that we can maintain your dog’s comfort and health effectively.
